​                 Off-The-Track Thoroughbreds

    An Equestrian Edge is a strong proponent of the Off-The-Track Thoroughbred and the Thoroughbred breed as a whole. Tara credits the hundreds of OTTBs she has ridden throughout both her youth and adult career as some of her greatest teachers. These horses have shaped who she is as both a rider and a trainer, and she unabashedly admits they are her favorite breed.
     She feels deeply indebted to them and is always excited to help owners better understand, develop, and appreciate their Thoroughbreds. Affectionately dubbed “The Thoroughbred Whisperer” by past and present clients, Tara brings patience, insight, and experience to every horse she works with.
    Whether you have a horse fresh off the track or an experienced OTTB with many miles, you can be confident your horse will show marked improvement in physical condition, mental balance, training, and overall enjoyment of its work while in her program.
